Straight Up Cycles is a bike shop in Victoria, BC that was established in 2000 as primarily a repair shop. From there we have grown into a full service bike shop that specializes in building you the bike of your dreams. Familiar with everything from high end racing bikes to custom touring bikes, to commuting workhorses, to mountain bikes that eat up whatever terrain you lay in front of them, we will help you meet your match and get you rolling.
The staff at Straight Up consists of cyclists–not roadies or downhillers or commuters–most of us will try just about anything on two wheels. The owner, Gerry Huizinga, has over 25 years of cycling and industry experience as a mechanic. His mechanics and sales staff all spend time testing new product, learning about new gadgets, and researching the latest and greatest in the industry.
As a shop Straight Up Cycles is the only Campagnolo Pro Shop in Victoria, the only Colnago and Orbea Dealer on the Island, and the only Argon18 dealer in Victoria.
